SHARC guides for DoAll saws have no overhanging carbide. Most DoAll saw owners will notice after some time, the overhanging carbide of the O.E.M. Style guides will become cracked, chipped and broken. This situation is corrected on the SHARC guides by keeping the carbide protected in it's pocket. It is not rocket science, but it will decrease your maintenance costs.
